In times of great need, Montway has always been there to lend a helping hand. If you’ve been watching the news and reading the most recent reports, then you are fully aware of the massive tornadoes that have ripped through Oklahoma. The 1.3 mile-wide tornado that ravaged the city of Moore, Okla. this past Monday not only left a wake of destruction and grief, but has also left 24 people dead according to the NY Times.
Of those 24 people, nine of them were children. In response to the natural disaster, many relief organizations have set up shop and have already created programs to aid the victims in the tragedy. Organizations such as the Red Cross, Feed the Children, Feeding America and many more have already set the wheels in motion to help. These organizations are accepting donations from anyone and everyone all over the country. In order to aid the tornado victims on behalf of the company, Montway Auto Transport has made a donation to Feed the Children.
“We know how devastating a natural disaster like this can be to a family and an entire community. We want to help in any way we can, and hopefully our donation will,” stated Mike Mihaylov, the owner of Montway Auto Transport. The company as a whole has made a donation to Feed the Children, but employees of Montway have individually stepped up to aid the cause as well by making their own personal donations. As of today, three employees have already donated to Feed the Children, and more are set to make their pledge.
It is often that times like these bring communities, families and entire countries together. If you would like to make a donation of your own to help the tornado victims in Oklahoma, take a look at all of the outlets you have to choose from here on the OKStrong site.
