Does my vehicle need to be insured to ship it?

No. Insurance is not required but it is strongly recommended. Your vehicle will be insured by the motor carrier’s cargo and liability insurance policies. Additionally, Montway maintains Contingent Cargo Insurance which affords additional protection up to $250,000 should the motor carrier and/or their insurance provider fail to fully cover a valid transport cargo claim.
