Truckers are more willing to haul your vehicle at a discounted rate when you pay in cash. With this option, a partial payment is due at booking. You pay the remaining balance directly to the trucker at time of delivery or pickup in either cash, cashier’s check or money order.
So our customer care department knows the order placement is complete and ready for dispatch.
Truckers will NOT accept personal checks or credit cards at time of delivery or when the vehicle is loaded.
With this option, you can pay-in-full by credit card or through PayPal when you schedule your shipment.
To finance your auto transport, select PayPal as your payment method and choose the “PayPal Credit” option when you log-in to PayPal. This option is offered by PayPal and subject to their terms and conditions.

This is the time it takes to pick up your vehicle starting from your "desired pickup date". It is not part of your transit time and generally takes 1-5 days.
If you are shipping to or from a rural area, it may take longer. Consider meeting the trucker in or near a major metropolitan area to decrease the price and speed up your shipment.
The delivery date depends on your estimated transit time. Once your order is dispatched, you receive an estimated arrival date. Know that it is difficult to pinpoint an exact day and time for delivery. Factors such as weather, traffic and other car loads can affect it.
Weather conditions such as rain, snow, high winds, etc. may occur along your route. In these cases, delivery may be delayed due to weather conditions.
Can great weather and good traffic be a bad thing? Possibly. It may cause your vehicle to be delivered ahead of the estimated schedule.

You have their number and they have yours. Usually truckers will call you hours in advance to give you an estimated drop-off time. They call again when they are in the area to give you a more specific hour of arrival.
YES, You Can Load Personal Items In Your Vehicle
With Montway you can have 1 suitcase or bag of up to 100 lbs. in the trunk free of charge
Anything over 100 lbs. can compromise the weight restrictions trucks must follow.
If you want to add more than 100 lbs. of items in your vehicle, $100 or more is added to your total cost depending on the size of your car. The smaller the vehicle, the lower the cost.

Every truck driver is subject to inspection at state lines and can be fined for hauling personal items as the "Federal and State Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations prohibit the transport of household items in vehicles being transported by auto carriers.
Under NO circumstances are Explosives, Guns, Ammunition, Flammable Products, Narcotics or any unlawful contraband allowed in your vehicle during transport.
Record of the Vehicle Condition at Pickup and Delivery
A bill of lading is a detailed list of a shipment of goods in the form of a receipt given by the carrier to the person consigning the goods at pickup and at delivery. It is often abbreviated as just “BOL”. When it comes to auto transport, it is used to record any existing external damage before transport as well as any new which happened during transit that is marked at delivery. For that reason this is the most important document for insurance claims.

|Before loading your vehicle, you and the trucker carefully inspect your vehicle for pre-existing scratches, dents and other damage.||1||At the time of delivery, the truck driver must allow you to carefully inspect your vehicle again.|
|On the bill of lading form there is an image of the vehicle. The truck driver marks all pre-existing damages in the correct area of the image.||2||If there are any NEW scratches, dents or other damages to your vehicle you MUST mark them on the bill of lading in the proper area of the image and write down in the field for exceptions/comments an exact description of the NEW damage. Just as at pickup, taking pictures at delivery, especially if there is new damage, is highly recommended.|

It’s also highly recommended to take several pictures of the vehicle at pickup and again at delivery.||3||Only AFTER the inspection, both the truck driver and you should sign the document and each must keep a copy of it.|

Yes, it is! However, it depends on the status of your order:
If your order has NOT been assigned (dispatched) for loading, your payment is fully refundable.
If your order HAS been assigned (dispatched) for loading, your payment is refundable, less a $199 service fee or the amount of your partial payment, whichever is less.
Your are notified by email as soon as your order is dispatched. At this point, we have already made a reservation for your vehicle. Therefore, due to services rendered, we refund the difference to $199.
