There’s lots of buzz around electric vehicles with automakers, environmental organizations, energy companies, car enthusiasts and everyday drivers having an interest in the growing market. Electric transportation helps the planet and the economy while offering innovations in automobile technology that have people about to short-circuit with excitement!

2023 was a landmark year for electric vehicles, with a record-breaking 1.2 million EVs sold in the U.S. It may be no surprise that the Tesla Model Y stood out as the best-selling EV in the U.S., with the manufacturer’s Model 3 also dominating the market. EV growth looks to be steady as most auto executives are ready to electrify transportation. Reports predict that two-thirds of global car sales could be EVs by 2030.

This year is already shaping up to be interesting for electric vehicles with Tesla, Lucid, Nissan, Hyundai, Rivian, Ford and other manufacturers expanding their EV lineups. More sedans, SUVs and trucks are entering the market than ever before, making the selection more diverse and choosing one that much harder.
