Tom Gartland serves as Montway’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, where he shapes the company’s trajectory, cultivates its corporate culture and steers the management team toward success.

Prior to his role at Montway, Tom held several notable positions. From 2017 to May 2023, he was the Executive Chairman of Scan Global Logistics (SGL), a $3 billion global freight forwarder with operations in 45 countries and annual revenue growth of plus 30%. Tom was part of the team that led the successful transition of the majority shareholdings from AEA Investors to CVC Capital Partners.

In addition, Tom holds directorial positions at two public companies: ABM Industries (NYSE: ABM) and Xenia Hotels and Resorts (NYSE: XHR). Earlier in his career, he was the President of Avis Budget Group’s North American business, driving profitable growth.
