   We have been in the auto transport business since 2002. Over the years we have catered to thousands of satisfied customers and have built a solid reputation for being dependable and reliable.

   Yes. We hire only qualified and experienced movers to join our team and all of them must first earn a reputation with our company before they can move a high-value vehicle. We also run extensive background checks on qualified applicants to check for criminal activity before extending a job offer.

    

3. I have a very busy schedule and cannot be waiting around for a delivery. How do I know my vehicle will arrive on time? Do I have to be there when the car is picked up/dropped off?
   When you place your shipping request, we will at that time discuss how long it will take the vehicle to arrive and your arrival expectations. When it is time to pick up/drop off your vehicle, you will receive a phone call directly from the mover. Usually within 12-14 hours.

    

4. Will my vehicle still be picked up/delivered if I am not home?
   Yes; however, it is recommended that you or someone you know is home when the vehicle is dropped off/picked up, since this is when the initial and final inspections will be done. Additionally, if we can't get to your home, we also cannot leave your vehicle on the side of the road. In these situations, our movers leave your vehicle at a local secure storage facility until you are able to retrieve it. This is done at the car owner's expense.

    

5. What type of shipping options do you offer?
   We offer both open and enclosed car transport services to our customers. Open transport allows us to offer you a cost-effective and safe shipping solution. Enclosed transport allows us to transport any vehicle safely and discreetly. The last thing we want you to worry about is heavy storms or flying objects damaging your vehicle. This also keeps ill intentioned individuals from determining what type of vehicle we are transporting, which is a great benefit for customers who need rare, high-value vehicles shipped.

    

6. What is Door-to-Door Service?
   We offer a nationwide Door-to-Door Service to our customers. This means that the auto transport truck driver will pick the vehicle up and drop it off as close to your home as he can legally and safely get. Many cities have restrictions on large trucks that prohibit them from driving into some residential areas. Transport trucks are enormous and need lots of room to maneuver and turn around, so if access to your home is restricted by narrow streets, low-hanging trees, speed bumps or tight turns, the driver may ask that you meet the truck at a large parking lot nearby such as a grocery store.You will receive a call directly from the auto transporter if these alternative arrangements are necessary.

    

7. What about any damages that occur?
   We insure all of the vehicles that we ship so, in the unlikely event that something does occur, you will not be out any money; we will take care of it. All damages should be discovered at the final inspection (which is a good reason why you or someone you know should be present when the vehicle is dropped off). To determine what damages occurred during transit, the initial inspection report and final inspection report will be reviewed. If personal items left in the car are lost or damaged, they will NOT be covered. This is just one reason why ALL personal items should be removed from the vehicle before shipment. 8. How long can I expect to wait for my vehicle's arrival?
   Although every delivery is different, usual timeframes are listed below:

   • Coast to coast = 1 to 2 weeks

   • Midwest to coast or North to South = approximately 1 week

    

9. What can I expect on pick up/delivery days?
   On these days, you will receive a phone call from the mover within 12-24 hours of pick up/delivery. Upon arrival the initial or final inspection will be made by the mover. You need to sign these inspection reports and receive a copy from the mover.

    

10. What if I need to ship more than one vehicle?
    At Montway Auto Transport, we can transport several vehicles at once and can accommodate multi-vehicle requests.

     

11. How much can I expect to pay?

    No. The only time your vehicle will be driven is to load/unload it. The current mileage will be detailed in your initial and final inspection reports.
